I have a two-story house built in 1986. What I can make changes to update and increase my resale value?
High Level – 1 master with small 3 / 4 bath, results bdrms, 2 1 bathroom middle level – Low-level living room and kitchen – office; 3 / 4 baths, living room with fireplace. Recently we had a new roof and walls and landscaping plan to the front for "curb appeal" in the spring. Meanwhile, we were hoping for get some ideas on how to fix the home DIY style. Initial thoughts are: 1) Replacement of vinyl floor in all bathrooms with ceramic tiles. 2) kitchen Refinishing cabinets (its all wood) 3) Put in laminate wood flooring in the kitchen. 4) Replacement of equipment (they are probably all 10 years of age) if there is money left. Any advice or suggestions.
